Menu text boxes allow you to import items from other saved designs. This is a great time-saver if you want to combine items from multiple menus, create a takeout to match your dine-in menu, or try your content on a new design.

There are two ways to use the Saved Items feature.

In the first option, start by clicking the Menu Items tab on the left hand side panel.

A list will populate with all of your Saved Designs. Choose the design you would like to import items from. A complete list of menu items from the selected menu will now appear. Click on the box next to the first item in the section that you'd like to import, or manually select the items that you want to add to this particular Menu text box (for example: all your entrees). Then click on Add to Page and those items will populate in a new Menu text box.

The second option can be done through editing an existing menu text box. Click on the menu text box once to open the editing panel on the left hand side of the page.

Next choose the Import Tab.

This will bring up a list of your saved designs that include items that can be imported.

Find the design you would like to import, then select the gray Import Items button to load your menu items. It will import all items from the source document.

A complete list of menu items from the selected menu will now appear. Click on the box next to the first item in the section that you'd like to import, or manually select the items that you want to add to this particular Menu text box (for example: all your entrees).  Then click on Add to Menu and those items will populate in your current Menu text box.

Now those items display in the item list. You can reorganize them, edit them, add more items, or import more items from the same or another source document.

Note: To import saved items from a different document, click on the Change Menu button at the top center of the window.
